EXTERIOR CLAY BAR DETAIL

At Ceramic Pro Calgary we offer a clay bar package that is an extensive deep cleaning correction to your original, or after market, paint job. The clay portion involves a process that our certified detail experts use with a clay compound. This clay compound is composed of a state of the art engineered resin that allows contaminants and blemishes to be extracted and removed from the paint surface. This powerful clay is able to break up stubborn dust, including but not limited to rail dust, brake dust and pollen dust caused by your normal wear and tear. Due to the microscopic nature of the dust particles it is very difficult, if not impossible, for these substances to be removed by your standard washing techniques.

The clay that is used in this process works by sliding it along the paint’s surface, while simultaneously grabbing onto microscopic particles that protrude from the paint’s surface. Before the surface is treated with the state of the art clay, it is imperative that the surface is treated with a clay lubricant. The clay and the lubricant work together to ensure that the surface of the paint is maintained to the highest quality of standards and scratches of the surfaces are avoided at all costs. When the clay bar detailing process is performed, our certified experts are able to remove and decontaminate the surface by extracting the external contaminants from the paint surface. These contaminants can be caused by exterior chemicals, acid rain and additional industrial applications that, over time, can lead to paint corrosion if left untreated.
